Feralco Group, 2nd European producer of performance products for water treatment, strengthens its position in Turkey with the acquisition of the “water” branch of the Dostel Group

 Feralco Group announces the acquisition of the water treatment activity of the Dostel Group in Turkey.

- ”This acquisition has been made through Akferal, our Joint-Venture with Akkim (Akkök Group) in Turkey and Middle East” explains Ludovic Huitorel, co-CEO Feralco Group.

-”This will allow us to become the leader on the Turkish market, with key contracts in order to supply cities like Istanbul and Ankara. Furthermore, the integration of two Dostel production units, and in particular that of Osmaniye on the Syrian border, should boost our expansion in the countries south of Turkey, in spite of the political situation in the region.”

For Feralco, whose products are used for the supply of potable water to 120 million people in Europe, the Middle East, with its 400 million inhabitants and its water stress, constitutes a major challenge for the future.
